Traditional wild flowers in cornfields have declined in recent years due to intensive farming, agriculture policies and the wide use of herbicides. This has also had a dramatic affect on the insect population in the countryside, which in turn affects all bird and small insect eating animals.
With your help, we can address this balance by sowing 100% Cornfield annuals in and around the new woodland we are creating. This mixture contains a wide range of wild flowers traditionally found in cornfields, giving a colourful visual impact and providing a diverse habitat for the many insects and birds found here in Devon.

- 20% Corn Flower
- 15% Corn Marigold
- 5% Corn Poppy
- 10% White Campion
- 20% Corn Camomile
With your help, our experienced team will plant the seed, establish and care for these flowers on your behalf in one of our fields. With this initiative, your company can give something back to the wild life, and bring some colour back to the countryside.
You will receive a Wild Flower and Native Grass Initiative Certificate printed on 100% recycled paper, a brass plaque placed in your area of wild flowers showing your company name as sponsor of this area, a map showing where the field is located if you wish to visit, and a mention in our e-newsletter if requested.
